The Ruiz family is from the beautiful little city of Guanajuato, Mexico. It is a city that is rich in traditions and culture. The people of Guanajuato are very friendly, being in a city that must almost be completely navigated on foot will do that. In fact, there are hundreds of alleyways the most famous being the "Callejon de Beso" (alley of the kiss). The local romantic legend has it that this callejón is so narrow that lovers, each standing on a balcony of either side of the alley, can reach across the alley and exchange a kiss! The city also boasts of one of the few collections of naturally made mummies in the world. Growing up the siblings learned the importantance of family and business, (since their parents are business owners themselves.) They were also taught the delicious, authentic flavors of the local dishes that were passed down through generations.
When they came to the U.S. in 1997 they brought all of these things with them. After several years of working in various occupations, the two brothers decided to open Supermercado Guanajuato in 2007. The success that they had led them to open El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant a few years later, and then their latest endeavour with a Torterilla and Bakery.
La familia Ruiz es de la hermosa ciudad de Guanajuato, México. Es una ciudad que es muy rico en tradiciones y cultura. El pueblo de Guanajuato es muy amable, estar en una ciudad que se debe casi completamente navegable en pie lo hará. De hecho, hay cientos de callejones la obra más famosa es la "Callejon de Beso" . El local románticas la leyenda dice que esta callejuela es tan estrecha que los amantes, colocados cada uno en un balcón de cualquiera de los dos lados del callejón, puede llegar a intercambiar un beso! La ciudad también dispone de una de las pocas colecciones de momias, naturalmente en el mundo. Crecen los hermanos aprendió el importantance de familia y negocios, (desde que sus padres son dueños de negocios propios.) también se enseña el delicioso, auténticos sabores de los platos locales que fueron transmitidos a través de generaciones.
Cuando vinieron a los ESTADOS UNIDOS en 1997 trajeron todas estas cosas con ellos. Depues de Varios anos trabajando en diferentes trabajos, los dos hermanos decidierion abrir el Supermercado Guanajuato en 2007 siguiendo la tradicion de sus padres. El éxito que se ha llevado a abrir el Mariachi restaurante mexicano unos años más tarde, y luego su último esfuerzo con un Torterilla y panadería.
